Role Overview

SL Data Services is seeking a Business Support Specialist to assist with day-to-day service coordination, account-related inquiries, and internal operational support.

This role serves as a point of contact for business users and internal teams, helping ensure that inquiries are routed appropriately, information is communicated clearly, and operational tasks are tracked and supported.

The Business Support Specialist works closely with service, data operations, and administrative teams to support smooth ongoing engagement with SL Data Services.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Responding to business and professional inquiries via email or support channels
  • Assisting with account-related questions and service coordination
  • Supporting billing inquiries and internal follow-up tasks
  • Tracking and documenting service requests and resolutions
  • Coordinating with internal teams to route and resolve inquiries
  • Maintaining organized records related to accounts and support interactions
  • Contributing to internal documentation and support workflows

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a business support, operations support, or coordination role, preferably in a professional services or B2B environment
  • Experience managing inbound inquiries through shared inboxes, ticketing systems, or support queues
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing, including responding to account or service-related questions
  • Experience tracking requests, updating internal records, and following up to ensure issues are addressed
  • Comfort working with internal tools such as spreadsheets, CRM systems, or task management platforms to stay organized
  • Ability to manage multiple open requests at once while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with billing coordination, account updates, or service administration is a plus
  • Prior exposure to data services, real estate-related work, or information-driven environments is helpful but not required
